UK

The UK is where I have spent most of my life, I grew up in Birmingham in the ‘heart of the country’ (most of what you’ll hear about Birmingham is not quite as positive) and while I despise the weather, I think this was a great place to be raised. It’s an industrial city full of different cultures, and I think growing up surrounded by so many different nationalities, religions and ways of life shaped me into the person I am today and led to me seeking out that diversity in places I travel, but particularly in places I live.

The UK is a small island, and while I’ve only lived in 2 places (Birmingham and Bournemouth), I’ve been able to see much of the country, from Cornwall up to Edinburgh. The UK has some beautiful spots and lots to see and do for such a small nation. I believe in being a tourist everywhere you go, even at home. That mindset has allowed me to explore and enjoy the country much more than the average citizen, and I hope you can take on my tips and recommendations to see the UK in the same way.
