Moving Abroad

I honestly think moving abroad will be both the best and worst thing you can do in your life. It exacerbates life’s challenges, leaving you to deal with problems old and new in an unfamiliar environment without your at home support system. But equally, it opens your life up in a way that nothing I’ve experienced parallels.
I have between countries on my own a handful of times at 22 (UK – Spain, Spain – Boston, Boston – back to UK and now UK – Philly) and each and every time has come with a steep learning curve, but also I can’t imagine my life if I hadn’t have left where I grew up. If you like life to be easy, take my advice, don’t move abroad. But if you want growth, exploration and a chance at a different lifestyle entirely, you won’t regret it.
