I am actually a quarter German, and I have visited family & friends throughout my childhood in different parts of Germany. I think Germany is actually kind of underrated as a destination, and different states can offer very different experiences to appeal to different kind of tourists. My most recent visit to Bavaria absolutely blew me away, and has inspired me to spend more time in Germany in the future.
