Getting Around
Tram Ride – A Classic Lisbon Experience
A ride on the famous Lisbon trams, particularly the iconic Tram 28, is a must for any visitor. Winding through narrow streets and offering views of historic neighborhoods, this tram ride is an affordable and fun way to explore the city.
• Cost: Single ticket costs €3; use a Viva Viagem card for discounted fares (€1.50 per ride).
• Budget Tip: Consider purchasing a 24-hour public transport pass for €6.40, which covers unlimited tram, bus, and metro rides
Bolt – best for travelling in a group
If you’re travelling as 2 or more, it might work out cheaper to take a bolt (like an Uber) and split the cost! On my last trip I took several journeys that were less than €5. But remember to tip your driver!
What to Do

Trying Original Pastel de Nata – A Sweet Treat

• Top Tip: The line to eat inside can often be very long, look for the shorter line at the takeout window on the left hand side
On my bucket list for my next Lisbon trip is a cooking class to learn to make Pastel de Natas! Here is the link to the one I’ve been recommended: https://getyourguide.tp.st/7ga53wBx
